My Osteopathic approach is rooted in Bhakti (a devotional practise of the heart). My professional background consists of post-graduate training in the physical, fluidic and biodynamic aspects of Osteopathy with a focus on cultivating mindfulness as a way to transcend trauma.
My research with the College d’Etudes Osteopathique as well as with the British College of Osteopathic Medicine centered around studying the heart as the primary conduit of health in the individual in a biophysical, psycho-emotional, and spiritual sense. My research outcomes support the idea that the heart has the power to heal trauma.
I am currently training with the Buehler Institute to add a counselling certificate to my roster in order to help people cultivate healthy emotional intimacy in their lives.
On a more personal note, I enjoy travel, wine culture (I am a certified Sommelièr), and writing (I independently published my first novel in March 2023). I love spending time with my two children in our tiny seaside cottage in Cape Breton when I’m not working.
